NIL, or Name, Image, and Likeness, refers to the ability of athletes to profit from their personal brand and identity.
NIL allows student-athletes to monetize their fame by endorsing products, engaging in sponsorships, and leveraging their social media presence. This groundbreaking shift provides athletes with unprecedented opportunities to capitalize on their talents while still in college.
NIL is for EVERYONE and not just revenue-generating sports like football and basketball. Athletes from a variety of sports have found success in the NIL space. Some of the largest NIL deals are coming from women's sports.
Athletes use NIL deals to help pay for what scholarships don't cover like food, housing, or even to start their financial future.
